How to get to Ortisei
By car / bus
The road system of Val Gardena is directly connected to the Brenner motorway (A22). Exit at the "Bolzano Nord" or "Chiusa – Val Gardena" toll booths. By following the road signs, you can reach Ortisei in about twenty minutes.
Directly next to the valley station there is a large parking lot for buses.
By train
Val Gardena is connected to the rest of Italy by IR trains (from Verona and Bologna), IC trains (from Lecce - Pescara - Bologna), and "Frecciargento" (from Verona, Bologna, Milan, Rome, Naples). All long-distance trains stop at Bolzano or Bressanone. From Bolzano and Bressanone, several buses depart for Val Gardena throughout the day. Some hotels provide direct transfers to and from the station.
Underground garage
At the valley station, a large underground garage offers space for 240 cars and is the cheapest in Ortisei. The electronic free-space indicators will help you spot available spaces at a glance without any waiting. Thanks to the pedestrian and cycle bridge, we are only 2 minutes from the town center.
